Rashad is a spoken word artist dedicated to using the power of words in order to inspire positive change.  Performing on TEDx, and other  major showcases (PBS, On The Verge Santa Barbara),while also being a self-published author, Rashad displays a tremendous amount of passion, captivating audiences online, and onstage for the past 6 years.

When not on stage, Rashad is out seeking inspiration from the world and the experiences life brings. Over the years, he has honed his craft, constantly pushing the boundaries of what spoken-word can accomplish.

His poem “Hope” is painted on the side of Betty Kwan Chinn Day Center located in Eureka, CA.
The poem invites others to see the world through different lens, to embrace the light even in the darkest of times.
